gimme a fucking break
really
ive met him he always seemed nice but since when does a handfull of aging dj's playing house in a coffe shop in clifton actually constitute momentum
this is not even supposed to be a diss on chuck or anyone on calico personally but get on board or keep your opinion to yourself
all paul has done is support your events on the board and in person and you are going to get on here and talk 10 plus year old drama i dont see him doing the same
mother fuckers we are all adults and all we want is to have a good time so leave your high school shit at home
paul is only trying to throw a lil joint for fun at a very cheap/free cost to people interested in attending
and it will be fun so why not come/support and have a good time instead of talking some shit

There's a reason behind everything.

Okay, I will check on Shpongle, I'm guessing a little out of a $5 event's price range, but I will try. I like Shpongle.meatwad wrote:Then I ate this butter straight out of the tub, because it tastes good.

I am no math wizard... how can it be a 15 year anniversary?
$5 x (generously) 100 people = those kids playing buckets outside the stadium being out of budget.
They are actually on my list of potential acts, but you are right, if I was trying to recoup my investment this would all be out of the question. That's the point, I waste money here and there regardless, why not shove it in a pile and do something I'll really enjoy? I can sock away a couple grand, blow it all on one night of electronic debauchery. It sounds as much fun as a vacation, plus I can invite all my friends along!meatwad wrote:Then I ate this butter straight out of the tub, because it tastes good.

First CALICO release = test pressing in May 1995. 2010-1995=15; was that really so hard?
No, I haven't released anything in a long time, but I have had music up on this or that web site. For example, I have had an individual page on MySpace since 2005. Just one more difference between a record label and an event promoter, I suppose...$5 x (generously) 100 people = those kids playing buckets outside the stadium being out of budget.

I am not some hipster tool who does things to impress other people. Let me re-emphasize my not caring what you think or if you come.

To recap what I've learned: You can't count, know too much about psytrance, and aren't playing at or coming to this event. Noted.

RTFM
I answered this already, the $5 is set in stone, donations are welcome, and I'm planning on losing $1000 or more on this event. I might print up a pile of invite cards at some point, but as this is invite only, no need to print up thousands of flyers for people who won't come.Sal wrote:this event has been "cancelled" by "order" of the only person still claiming C.B.S.
